In the last few years, many of our customers that buy SHOPCraft sheet pan racks have been asking for a z-rack/nesting rack from us. Following our customers’ suggestions, Schaumburg Specialties is pleased to introduce into our product line the all new, high-quality Spacecraft nesting sheet pan rack.

We made a few different prototypes altering the design each time until we were satisfied that we had a product that is superior to all similar products of this type on the market today. Since a rack of this design is not comparable in strength to that of a standard rack with support on all four sides, we doubled the width of the cross section tubing that holds the side panels together giving the rack a good solid construction.

This is a medium duty, all welded pan (speed) rack that holds 18” x 26” sheet pans. Stem casters are used to ensure greater stability. It’s perfect for production areas in bakeries, catering companies, restaurants, etc, that are low on space but have a high demand for sheet pan storage. When not in use these racks can be nested together as shown in the attached photos.

The nesting design allows you space for either nearly twice the number of standard pan racks or 40% extra floor space to be used for other purposes hence the name Spacecraft.
